“Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a persistent fascination with color and form. This fascination inspires my painting. I enjoy painting figures, still lifes and landscapes, but I have lately had a special fascination for barns. Not only are some barns especially beautiful, but they are becoming an endangered species. I can, at least, preserve them in my paintings.”
